Businde washing station has only been in operation for 10 years, but has already notched a coveted Cup of Excellence under it's belt. Unlike most other washing stations in the East Africa, Businde has its own plot of coffee trees that they're carefully cultivating. After tasting this incredibly well-processed natural coffee, we're very excited to see what else the team at Businde has in store. The station services 650 amazing coffee producing families who make on average 20% more than other producers in Burundi, and the staff at Businde make 60% higher wages than the casual labor rate in Burundi.
