Espresso Recipe

This recipe is to be used as a starting point when dialing in. Most home espresso machines don't have adjustable temperature and pressure, so you'll be relying on changing the grind size to try to dial in your extraction time.

This is our standard recipe. There are a million different ways of pulling good shots of espresso, we encourage you to experiment and take notes. Have fun out there!

Supplies: Espresso machine, ground coffee, scale, timer.
  • 200F (if adjustable on your equipment)
  • 6-7 bars (if adjustable on your equipment)
  • 19g of dry coffee in
  • 38g of liquid coffee out
Brew Time: 28s-30s (use grind size to adjust time)
